Common pricing questions
What counts as an "active approved carer"?
Any carer currently approved by your panel. Deregistered carers are retained in the system free of charge as required by law (Regulation 30). They do not count toward your active total.
Are staff logins really unlimited?
Yes. Social workers, admin staff, panel members, directory managers, finance — everyone gets their own login. We never charge per user. CHARMS charges £100/user/month. We think that model is broken.
Is there a contract or can we cancel monthly?
Annual agreements receive a 17% discount (2 months free). Monthly billing is available at full price with 30 days notice to cancel. Upon termination, we provide a complete SQL dump of your data.
How does the Carer Lead Marketplace work?
Subscribing agencies gain access to our live national candidate database. We run UK-wide attraction campaigns (with a CAC of ~£80) and pre-screen applicants. Vetted candidates are listed on the marketplace. You can buy ready-to-register candidates out of the marketplace using credits (£1,000 per lead). Purchased leads instantly sync their training logs and DBS history directly into your FosterCore database.
Is FosterFlow (the carer app) included?
Yes, if you choose the Unified Ecosystem Suite. When you subscribe, all your carers get premium access to the FosterFlow mobile logging companion app for free (normally £19.99/mo per carer if bought individually). When carers submit daily notes, observations, or incident reports, they sync automatically to their child's chronological file in your database.
How do Local Authorities (LAs) purchase & pay?
Local Authorities purchase on annual or 3-year framework terms via official Purchase Order (PO) numbers and pay by BACS Direct Bank Transfer (Net 30 days). We provide 3-year fixed-price guarantees with annual CPI inflation caps, G-Cloud compliant contract terms, and 100% UK data residency (London eu-west-2).
How do we pass council Information Governance (IG) vetting fast?
We provide a Pre-Filled DPIA (Data Protection Impact Assessment) Pack, ready-to-sign Data Processing Agreement (DPA), SHA-256 immutable audit trails for LADO investigations, and a 75-Year Statutory Archival Vault. Council IG teams can review and clear vetting in days instead of months.
